Current privacy overview

Magpiejay collects the information needed to run the shop, commission requests, customer order lookup, and email updates. That can include contact details, order details, shipping details, commission request information, and newsletter signup data.

Payments are handled through Stripe. Site data, storage, and auth are handled through Supabase. Email delivery and sends are handled through PostmarkApp. Those services only receive the information needed to provide the parts of the experience they support.

Magpiejay also uses PostHog for privacy-conscious site analytics. Analytics are limited to public page views and broad funnel events such as product views, checkout starts, newsletter signups, and commission request submission categories. Autocapture and session replay are off, IP capture is disabled, and account, dashboard, checkout, private-offer, auth, API, and email-preference paths are excluded from page tracking.

Analytics events are intentionally kept away from raw commission messages, shipping addresses, payment details, customer names, email addresses, private-offer tokens, Stripe identifiers, and account access data.

Subscriber information is used for launches, drops, and updates when a visitor chooses to join the email list. Order and commission information is used to fulfill purchases, respond to support requests, and manage active customer work.

Campaign emails include preference-management and unsubscribe controls. Order confirmations, shipping updates, commission follow-up, and account access emails are treated separately because they support an order, request, or account action the customer already asked for.

If you need help with your information, want to update your contact details, or need help with newsletter preferences, use the preference links inside a campaign email or contact [email protected].
