How custom commission requests work

Commission requests start with the site form. Maya reviews fit, timeline, complexity, and whether the request matches the kind of work Magpiejay is currently taking on.

Some requests need a reference image before they can be properly reviewed. If a request depends on a specific pet, person, character, or likeness, reference photos help keep the review process accurate.

Submitting a request does not automatically reserve a slot. Pricing, timing, and next steps are confirmed only after review. If the project is a fit, Maya can follow up with quote details and the payment path for approval.

Custom work is naturally more variable than ready-made inventory, so production timing may shift based on queue size, complexity, reference quality, and material availability.
